More Than Just A Day For Mom

There are as many ways to celebrate Mother's Day as there are ways to mother.

For me, Mother's Day is a way to measure the gratitude I feel for having my mother on this earth for most of my early adult life.

It's also a time to check in to see if I'm mothering myself on a level that would make her proud.

I lost my mother to breast cancer many moons ago. On Mother's Day, I always host an Intention Candle Making Experience so we can light a candle and say a prayer for all the mom's on earth and in heaven. I also recommit to the promise I made to nurture and care for myself as she would want me to do.

I think mothering our self goes much deeper than the popular idea of self-care. For me, it is setting a clear intention to steer my growth, nurture my inner development and feed my spirit the fuel it needs to be a light in the world every day.

We never really lose our mothers if we carry their wisdom in our hearts and share it with the world.

Join me on Mother's Day weekend for an Intention Candle Making Experience so we can celebrate mom, or the mom in you!

With Love, Luck and Grace,

Evolyn
