We offer the following public and private Yoga and meditation classes designed for all levels from beginners to advanced students.

slow flow YOGA COMMUNITY CLASS

This practice is designed to calm your mind, release tension, open your heart and move blocked and stagnant energy out of your body and cultivate a positive mindset with the following modalities:

  • Breath Work

  • Hatha Yoga Poses

  • Mindfulness

  • Self-Reiki

  • Yoga Nidra Meditation

YIN YOGA

This practice is designed to calm your mind, release tension, open your heart and move blocked and stagnant energy out of your body and cultivate a positive mindset with the following modalities:

  • Breath Work

  • Yin Yoga Poses

  • Mindfulness

MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS

This class is an introduction to the practice and benefits of meditation & mindfulness. Participants will learn a breathing exercise and simple steps to creating a daily meditation practice that will help them manage stress and anxiety, improve sleep patterns, and cultivate a sense of well-being.

self-reiki sound bath

During this class, you will experience relaxing breath work, a self-reiki meditation and a crystal healing sound bath to seal your intentions and elevate your personal vibration.

YOGA for healing support

This gentle practice is designed to support the emotional and physical wellbeing of those affected by breast cancer. You will learn breathwork and a series of poses that may help increase your energy, reduce stress, improve sleep and general quality of life.

Instructor:

Evolyn Brooks is a registered RYT 500 yoga and mindfulness teacher with certifications in Restorative, Yin and Y12SR: The Yoga of 12 Step Recovery. She is a reiki practitioner and founder of In My Solitude LA. Evolyn is also an Emmy-nominated and NAACP Image award-winning television and experiential event producer, journalist, podcaster and author.

These weekly virtual, donation based classes are designed to help you wind down and relax your body with gentle sitting stretches and poses.

We practice intention setting, breath work, asana, yoga nidra meditation, self-reiki and sound bath.
