Description:

Her Name Is Cranberry shares tips on how to stay positive, persevere and manage your emotions through life’s challenges.

This is a helpful guide for women who want to release personal trauma and heal past wounds to support the healing of their mind, body and spirit.

Her Name Is Cranberry is the story of In My Solitude LA founder, Evolyn Brooks, an award-winning television producer and certified yoga teacher who survived breast cancer with prayer, acupuncture, reiki, meditation, exercise, a healthy diet and forgiveness.

I have read Mz. Evolyn’s book. It was honest. Uplifting. Inspiring. It truly was just what the doctor ordered. I have passed on this beautiful testimony to my niece who is facing her journey. The perfect gift of good news and good vibes.

Arlan Hamilton is the founder and managing partner of Backstage Capital; a fund that is dedicated to minimizing funding disparities in tech by investing in high-potential founders who are people of color, women, and/or LGBTQ.

Arlan is a real-life example of a woman who used hard work, self-education and the power of belief to manifest her dream of becoming a venture capitalist.

At one point in her journey she was homeless and on welfare, sleeping in airports and motivating herself with simple, daily mantra of “ I am a venture capitalist” and after four years she received her first round of funding.
