Intention of The Week: Just For Today I Will Practice Inner Listening!


Our intention this week …

“Just for today… I will practice inner listening and observe my external behavior in response to stress. 

This intention is designed to help us become more aware of the connection between what we are “saying or doing” as a reaction to a challenging situation, a minor irritation or a deeply triggering moment over the next seven days.

In order to plant the seed of a powerful intention that bears fruit, our thoughts and actions must be in alignment. 

Our stress responses can take us out of our center and dilute the energy that is required to stay true to our intention and manifest positive results in our lives. 

In many cases our response to stress can be a “knee jerk” or a “one size fits all” rebuttal that is often too much for the moment.

These are the clues, the bread crumbs to follow that can shed light on where we need to clear our energetic biofield — by identifying the parts of our past that we are still holding onto or unconsciously reliving every time we feel stressed. 

What is the most satisfying result of practicing this intention?

Once we become aware of our unconscious reactions to stress, we can consciously make a different behavioral choice, create a new neural pathway and habit in our brain and adopt a more balanced way of managing life’s challenges.
